They enhance the patterns and contrast between the different materials that are being used on marble projects. Levadia marble and Aliveri marble are the most well-known Greek black marble.

Levadia black marble, a fine dark black marble, may be used amongst other gentle color marble types for an intense contrast. On the contrary, Aliveri black marble, a beautiful off black marble type, may be used for a gentle, pale contrast.

Greek marble, that ranges from brown, coffee-colored, sandy, beige, bronze, golden and cream to rose pink and ruby, wine red, with or without veins and/or cloudy patterns, they definitely consist a vast marble collection for interior design and decorating ideas.

Cream Vanilla marble stands out from the beige marble types while from the rose-pink marble types the most popular and beautiful one is Pilion pink marble. Furthermore, Golden Spider marble is undoubtedly an exceptional and unique marble type with white background and golden veins that looks like a spider’s web.

Greece has also green marble quarries. The marble quarry of famous Tinos green marble is known since antiquity. Green marble types are excellent to be used in floor marble patterns.
